Friendship-themed custom colouring pages for a children’s book
For Czmerk-Prisztács Edit’s book Színpompás személyiség, we created 17 custom colouring pages and several additional graphics. The central theme of the drawings was friendship, so the illustrations needed to be gentle, playful and easy for children to engage with while colouring.

Colouring pages that are more than outlines to fill in
A colouring page for a children’s book works best when the child can not only colour it, but also understand and enter the scene. In this project, the theme of friendship gave the drawings their emotional foundation. The characters, gestures and situations all supported a warm visual world built around connection.
17 custom drawings with creative freedom
The project included 17 custom colouring pages along with several additional graphics. We were given full creative freedom, which allowed us to shape the scenes and characters in a way that suited both the tone of the book and the way children engage with illustrated material.
A playful format with developmental value
The colouring pages offer both an enjoyable activity and a gentle developmental opportunity. By following lines, shapes and details, children can practise fine motor skills, attention and creative decision-making. Because the drawings focus on friendship, they can also become starting points for conversation.
Supplementary graphics designed around the book
The purpose of the colouring pages and additional graphics was to add an extra layer of experience to the book. For this kind of illustration work, it is important that the drawings can stand on their own while still remaining connected to the publication’s theme and atmosphere.
